I've used Stillwater Automotive for several years. They do fantastic work and are super friendly. They always check back to make sure everything is going well and send me reminders when it's time to come in for an oil change. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!!!

Kept me informed, prompt service ( important as this is my work vehicle), technician described the problem well, the price was fair, and the vehicle was kept clean. I have confidence in the entire staff, from the person who answers the phone and makes the appointment to the technician who does the diagnostics and repairs.

I've been going to Stillwater Automotive for many years now. This time, I received a standard oil change but I've had extensive work done in the past (mostly on my truck). For the oil change, I dropped off my car in the morning and it was done by late morning (there is an option to wait, if you want). One of the things I really appreciate is the extensive list of work done but also a list of recommended service. I've never felt pressure to do anything but I do like seeing upcoming issues or service. This gives me the option of budgeting the money or for doing some of it myself. In terms of previous work done, the pricing/quotes are pretty accurate and reasonable considering that the work has been done well. I recently had my son's truck repaired as it needed a new heater core. Having done this myself in the past (like 160 screws under the dash to access it), I was aware of the challenge and time required. I received a reasonable quote and the job was done well. I had scheduled the time to drop the truck off and it was done in 1 day. And, I might say, it was worth every cent as being upside down in the cab of a truck for half the day is exhausting. Anyways, I will end by saying that it is good to have a reliable mechanic that is honest and reasonable. Anyone who has had a bad mechanic, plumber, electrician, etc. can understand how valuable good service is. Highly recommended. I'm adding to my review. On December 28, I got an oil change on my daughter's vehicle prior to her going back to college. I always drop it off but it was done about 9:30am, so it was nice to have it done so quickly. On a side note, if you have a vehicle 1995 or older, Stillwater Auto has changed their policy on major repairs. Due to finding issues on older cars (bolts frozen to the engine block and other unforeseen issues) and having to tell customers about "extra" charges not on the original quote, Stillwater Auto is referring customers elsewhere. I highly recommend, if you are in this situation (like I am for my truck), to use Stillwater Safety Lane on S. Main. These guys are very reasonable but do great work.
