Stillwater Automotive is the only place I take my pickup to be worked on! They are honest and reliable mechanics. They are always very friendly when i walk through the door and they help me with any kind of problem I have. Even when I just need an oil change, I ask them to look things over and let me know if there is anything that needs fixed, they do it without charging me extra! I highly recommend them to anyone! They care about your vehicle as much as you do! Thanks for everything!!

My daughter is a student at OSU and has used Stillwater Automotive for her 4 years there. They have always been professional, courteous, friendly and reasonably priced. Any repairs needed have always been done quickly and expertly. They've diagnosed problems and provided very cost effective solutions.My daughter recommended her roommate to them after the local dealer estimated an expensive air conditioner replacement for her Subaru. Lonnie was able to diagnose the problem, fix her air conditioner and save her over $200 in the process. You don't find that kind of service in many places, and especially in a college town. I would recommend Stillwater Automotive to anyone looking for good, honest, reliable work.

I have been to Stillwater Automotive twice - once for a pretty significant part replacement and once for an oil change. Both times the staff there has been incredibly helpful and friendly. These guys work hard and are thorough in their repairs and reports.It took me a while to find a good place in Stillwater for car repairs, but once I took my baby to Stillwater Automotive, I was confident that it was in good hands. Lonny, Robbie and everyone else that works there make you feel comfortable with the process, be it an oil change or whatever.Their prices are fair, and they are efficient without cutting corners. For as long as I am in Stillwater, I will trust them with any repair or maintenance that needs to be done on my vehicle. They take pride in their work and in their reputation across the community. For me, there really is no other reason to look anywhere else.

Stillwater Automotive is the only place in Stillwater I take my car. Other experiences I've had with other providers haven't been as positive. Lonnie and his employees always seem to do a good job. And their prices are upfront and fair. I like that they also do oil changes, a welcome development after I learned the Firestone place in town forgot to put oil in a coworker's engine.

This place is always busy, it is a good idea to call beforehand and many times you will have to wait a few days before you can get in. I had them do some pretty significant repair work on my car, and it took a while but I can see why they are so busy, they do quality work and have a staff of experienced mechanics who know their way around a wide variety of vehicles.
Major car repairs are never cheap, but I'd say it was around half of what I would have paid at a dealership, and maybe a little less than that. I would especially recommend them to drivers of older cars who want to maintain and keep them running long-term.
They are really good with customers and are good at explaining things and letting people know what the options are. I never felt pushed or pressured into agreeing to anything. I am still pretty new to Stillwater and am glad to have found a great place to take my car. Just wish they were open on Saturday, but I guess when you have a steady stream of customers you can afford to only work 5 days a week.
